The Role:

The Southwark Highways team is evolving, with exciting opportunities, new ways of working and a record of delivery. We're looking for enthusiastic Project Support Officers to join the team and help us create a better link with the public and across the council.

The Highways team maintains the roads and footways of the borough, designs schemes to improve them and also works with the community to enhance the areas people live. The Project Support team work alongside all three and help deliver better outcomes for residents.

About You:

We’re looking for candidates with a positive approach to solving problems, who work well in a team and are comfortable driving innovation in what we do and how we do it.

You'll understand customer care delivery and have experience interacting with the public in an advisory or problem-solving setting. Strong IT and administration skills are key to success for this role and you'll be happy handling data.
