The Role:
The Public Health Division is looking to recruit a Health Intelligence Analyst to the Knowledge and Intelligence team. The role will entail working with other members of the division, Children & Adults department and NHS partners, in the provision of high quality public health analysis for commissioners and policy makers, including health needs assessments, health equity audits and other intelligence. The post holder will be accountable to the Head of Health & Wellbeing.
Confident at applying your quantitative analytical competence, you will be adept at using statistical methods to integrate data. Competence in developing and managing a variety of software from Excel through to the use specialist software such as MapInfo, Power BI, Stata, or R. Your background will include carrying out projects in a operational or research field.
You will be comfortable leading evaluations, assessing health needs and also bring with you high standard of communication skills, demonstrated by the ability to present complex oral and written information, in a variety of formats to a variety of audiences.
