The role

To provide exemplary management and leadership to drive Southwark’s sufficiency and permanency strategy alongside practice frameworks.

To manage, supervise and support a practice group of supervising social workers who ensure in house foster carers have the capacity to meet the needs of Southwark’s children, offer high quality care, and are provided sufficient support and challenge where necessary.

To ensure oversight and performance alongside reflective supervision and relationship based practice is championed.

About You

We are looking for someone with the motivation and drive to support our vision and strategies whilst providing excellent management and leadership to the team.

You will have knowledge of fostering regulations and national minimum standards, and experience and skills in management and leadership to increase the capacity of our carers and drive performance and practice standards.
