About the role:

The All Age Disability and Learning Disabilities integrated duty service provides a comprehensive and effective integrated social work response to the needs of children and adults with Learning Disabilities and/or other disabilities in accordance with Children’s and Adults’ legislation, departmental policies and practice.

 

Our Social Workers undertake strength based social care assessments, determining the needs of individual and ensuring focussed interventions are delivered to safeguard children and young adults and promote independence and positive outcomes.

 

The successful applicant will provide oversight on unallocated cases, management oversight on incoming safeguarding concerns and day to day duty management such as oversight on case work , urgent placements.

 

About you:

We are looking for outstanding Duty Senior with a passion for social work and supporting service users

You will have  

- Social work qualification and be registered with Social Work England.

- Relevant social work experience required

- Professional potential and personal attributes to guide families and clients.

- The ability to provide the professional guidance and support in complex assessment and case management functions to  deliver high quality, responsive and customer-focused services.

- The ability to foster and build close working relationships with stake holders.

 

 

Please note an Enhanced DBS is required for this role.
