The Role:
To support and manage the delivery of projects in support of the Council’s short, medium, and long-term accommodation plans, including the rationalisation and modernisation of the 199 operational building portfolio.
Work with and direct cross-functional project teams, facilities managers, staff, and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council’s property portfolio and provide post project performance reviews.
To aid the development of future accommodation plans and workplace configuration in line with the council new ways of working methodologies.
About you:
-Experience of influencing and working within a complex network and interacting at senior level with the Chief Executive, Cabinet Members, elected officials, directors, partners, and stakeholders and operating in a political environment in relation to implementing change management projects.
-Ability to embrace innovation and new ways of working, whilst having the competence, skills, and aptitude to deliver sustainability and modernisation challenges in a tight fiscal envelope. Whilst supporting the delivery of the council’s carbon net zero 2030 policy.
Additional Information:
- This is a Fixed Term contract for 36months
- Standard 36 hours, Monday - Friday
