The Role

The Web Systems Manager is responsible for support and maintenance of technical solutions and interfaces, and provides technical advice, guidance and support to the council in achieving its objectives through the effective deployment and maintenance of web-based technologies and interfaces. The web development programme will oversee a vast amount of technology transformation over the next year with the move of the southwark.gov.uk website to LocalGov Drupal. This is an exciting opportunity to support the council on this journey.

About you:

You'll be an experienced Web Systems Manager, well versed in web and digital transformation. We're looking for someone with a 'can-do', proactive attitude that can help us to deliver great digital services to our residents.

We will only consider applications from internal candidates, that are current employees or agency workers on an active assignment. 

This post is part time working 18.00 hours per week. The exact working pattern/arrangement to be agreed with the service.
