The Web Systems Manager will play a key role in enabling the delivery of this vision.
The Role:
The Web Systems Manager is responsible for support and maintenance of technical solutions and interfaces and provides technical advice, guidance and support to the council in achieving its objectives through the effective deployment and maintenance of web-based technologies and interfaces.
The Web Systems Manager will provide technical expertise to support complex, organisational redesign projects and lead on and contribute to multi-disciplinary and multiple project teams to deliver digital, organisational and cultural change across the council.
About You:
The right candidate will bring a wealth of experience implementing, managing and supporting our web applications, interfaces and integrations. We are a complex and multi-domain business environment; we need someone who can lead application lifecycle management and delivery in this environment. The Web Systems Manager will have experience in service redesign / improvement balanced with risk and business as usual.
You will bring excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage and influence internal and external stakeholders. We are looking for an innovative problem solver who can operate effectively in a complex technical environment.

Additional Information:
The basic working hours for this role is 36 per week. Candidates should be aware that there is a requirement to attend meetings outside normal working hours wherever this is necessary for the effective performance of the job. Southwark has a strong flexible working ethos and believes in focusing on outcomes.
