Our Children & Families service and looking to recruit two SEND Tribunal and Complaints Officer to join our brilliant team and play a key role in providing leadership for SENDT tribunal and formal disagreements.

About the role:
As the SEND Tribunal and Complaints Officer, you will lead the management of SEND Tribunal cases and formal disagreements. This role involves preparing cases for tribunal, liaising with Legal Services, SEND services and multi-agency practitioners.
You will represent the Local Authority in legal settings, presenting cases at SEND Tribunals and defending the appropriateness of proposed service provisions. This includes preparing evidence for the Local Government Ombudsman.
About you:
The successful candidate will be an experienced Tribunal and Mediation Officer (or equivalent) with significant experience leading SENIST services.
You should hold a degree or have similar professional experience, along with in-depth knowledge of key legislation surrounding SEND and children and families.
