About the Team:
The Transformation service, based within the Family Early Help service, works to ensure we excel with transformation of early help services. Improving outcomes for children and their families by influencing major, complex and cross departmental programmes. Delivering on the expectations set nationally and locally to ensure that our practice and frameworks in Southwark achieves regional and national recognition for excellence.
Engaging other council departments, partners and stakeholders in family early help provision to achieve sustainable demand management outcomes in statutory children’s services.
In this dynamic, fast changing role, much of your success will be guided by how well you collaborate with others to deliver outcomes.
The Role:
The Transformation Delivery Manager works as part of a service that is responsible for the transformation of services that impact on the outcomes for children, young people and their families. Refocusing and energising the role of the lead practitioner with a cross cut of council and partnership services, imbedding the Keeping Families Strong approach through the development of a Community Early Help offer, aimed at ensuring increasingly effective and joined up services deliver improved outcomes for children, young people and families.
The post holder will be a key part of the successful delivery of operational changes required, driving and harnessing the pace of change needed to achieve our divisional aim of early help being everyone’s responsibility. The post holder will lead on development of complex and cross partnership projects with the Transformation lead and will deputise as necessary in the Transformation Leads absence. Funding for the Supporting Families Programme has been extended until 2025 and has been provided on an indicative basis, therefore it is likely that the FTC will be extended to March 2025.
