The role
TMI Monitoring & Support Officer
Do you want to want to be a part of the Award winning TMI team in Southwark?
If your answer is yes, then we would like to talk to you.
The LB Southwark is acknowledged as the leading authority on tenant management and has established a reputation for ground breaking developments in the field. A multi-award winner in the category of ‘Most Supportive Landlord’ from the national Federation of TMOs the TMI team has also helped to change legislation in the area of tenant management.
The Tenant Management Initiatives (TMI) within the Communities Division is looking to recruit an experienced professional to monitor and support a portfolio of Tenant Management Organisations (TMOs) in Southwark.
Our TMOs range in size from 40 to 1500 homes and provide a range of housing services to the residents in their area. These services include rent collection, cleaning, grounds maintenance, tenancy management and repairs and you will be expected to provide support to the TMOs in the delivery of the housing service as well as providing a link to council officers across departments who provide the retained services not delivered by TMOs.
You will need to monitor the performance of the TMOs in the delivery of services and ensure that they deliver the highest service standards expected by residents.
You’ll come to us with a good understanding of the principles of tenant management and a commitment to putting residents first.
You’ll be able to meet targets but every bit as important will be the ability to inspire and work with TMOs to deliver an excellent customer service.
