Systems Support Officer – Exchequer Systems
Fixed term contract until 31 March 2019

An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide systems support within the Exchequer Systems team. You will be part of a team maintaining the integrity, availability and processing of all Exchequer systems, including Northgate (Revs&Bens and iWorld Housing), Info@Work, Arcus Global, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of notifications and reports to all stakeholders.

You will take responsibility for elements of the day to day systems management, planning and coordinating systems and subsidy reconciliations and managing batch schedules. Be a point of contact in the team for internal and external customers, responding promptly to systems queries from all service users.

Managing projects undertaken within the section and wider department, including updating project plans and organising meetings. Liaison with Housing Benefits Landlords and dealing with Landlord enquiries and payments.

We need a capable and IT skilled officer with a flair for problem solving and organisation. Experience and knowledge of managing Revs&Bens and Housing systems, including the use of Microsoft’s suite of programs for data collation and manipulation is essential.

A team player, with the ability to prioritise their own workload according to the needs and priorities of the team. An eye for detail is needed to identify and take necessary actions to resolve any discrepancies, liaising with senior officers and managers where appropriate. To assist in the delivery of a professional, customer focused high quality service to achieve Division targets.
