The Role:

Do you have knowledge of creating services for children/young people with special educational needs along with experience of implementing service innovation and change management? Are you committed to ensuring that services provide the best possible outcomes for children and families whilst achieving best value use of resources?

If the answer to the above questions is ‘yes’ then the Sustainable Travel and Post 19 Service Development Lead role, based in our Education directorate, may be the right role for you.

About you:

As the service development lead for sustainable travel and post 19 services, you will provide strong leadership and a flexible approach to transforming services for children and young people with SEND. You will ensure that travel arrangements are appropriate and will support young people towards their independence and transition into adulthood. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real difference to children and families and to contribute to Southwark’s commitment towards sustainable travel.
