The Role:

An exciting opportunity within our Supported Pathways Hostels.

Managing a caseload of vulnerable adults who have a history of homelessness, rough sleeping and complex needs. This involves supporting them through the housing pathway in a holistic way, signposting to relevant external agencies and assisting with welfare benefits.

Supporting them in securing their next stage housing, providing resettlement support so that they successfully move into and sustain their new home. To provide appropriate floating support for 6 months and to ensure they are linked into necessary support services thereafter.

About You:

You will have detailed knowledge of legislation and issues relating to the safeguarding of homeless vulnerable adults who have complex needs, a thorough knowledge of health and safety in relation to a supported housing setting and a high level of experience of risk assessment, key-working and support planning.

You will also have an understanding of psychologically informed practice within a hostel setting, ensuring that client centered key-working incorporates the principles of trauma informed care and the impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences.

 

Additional Information:

- Full Time, 36 hours a week.

- Hours of operation are 8am to 8pm with changeable work patterns and locations of 8am-4pm and 12pm -8pm, Monday - Friday.

- Please note this role requires Enhanced level DBS Check.
