The role

This role is responsible for Driving and operating our 18 tonne lorry with a mounted crane (HIAB) you will be using this equipment to carry out installations and repairs of lighting columns, bollards and street furniture and assisting our Tree Team and carrying out excavations and installing ducting and cabling on the Public Realm, you may also be required to work out of hours.

Southwark Council has over 17 Thousand Street lighting assets and over 200 EV points which we maintain.

As part of the team you will be also assisting with the delivery of our LED lantern capital replacement programme and Electrical Vehicle Charging Points Borough wide and you will be part of delivering this service as well as delivering other exciting highways projects.

Additional salary details

 

Salary ranges dependent on experience

 

 

Craft Operative: £33,786 - £47,410

Craft Operative+: £37,221 - £52,521
