The Role:
This role is located within a dynamic and fast paced team where no two days are the same.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a team approach and an ability to stay calm under pressure while managing competing priorities.
Southwark Council are seeking a strong leader with the ability to deliver service transformation through developing collaborative approaches within the Children, Adults & Families Commissioning Team. A Proven track record in successfully delivering complex programmes, you will have a passion for undertaking challenging programmes which really make a difference.
As a Strategic Programmes Manager you will need to:
- Start at pace to build the team, establish positive and cooperative relationships to further develop a programme of change initiatives; driving service improvement with colleagues across Adults and Children’s social care and Education services;
- Working with commissioners to ensure that programme governance is set up in a way that supports key project management deliverables and methodology so that all stakeholders are presented with issues, options and risks in a transparent way;
- You will have direct line management for 4 staff members and will lead, motivate and review the roles to ensure robust performance.
