The role
This is a unique opportunity to showcase your valuable skills and experience in a newly created Human Resources (HR) and Organisational Transformation (OT) Service. As the Strategic Lead HR Business Partnering, you will lead the provision of HR Business Partnering services across the organisation. You will oversee the development of departmental people plans to ensure that workforce priorities are identified, planned and delivered ensuring consistency of approach and high levels of service delivery.

You will have a customer-driven approach with a commitment to understanding the employee lifecycle based on engagement with our workforce and stakeholders to deliver a refreshed employee value proposition embedded throughout the employee journey.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a fresh contemporary leadership style/approach to lead and develop the team and colleagues within the HR & OT community. You will be a skilled influencer who has worked with senior managers, members providing strategic business-led advice that supports all aspects of change management, business partnering, and employee relations advice and consultancy within the context of the business. A sustainable track record of developing, designing, and delivering workforce strategies and related people management strategies within large public sector organisations is essential.
You will also have extensive and practical experience of leading large change projects in at least two HR-related disciplines; OD, Business Partnering, Resourcing, Employee Relations

Additional salary details
In addition to a competitive salary, this role attracts a JNC benefit package of £2724 PA / Pro rata dependent on start date.
