The role
The All Age Disability and Learning Disability Service are looking for an experienced social work practitioner to join us to lead the duty pathway within the service.
This duty pathway provides a comprehensive, rapid response to presenting issues within 24 hours.
Our duty system is run on a rota basis and the role includes coordinating and managing the day to day to day activities of this provision and the practitioners rota'd on.
This includes offering professional guidance and support and managing the most complex cases.
We are interested in hearing from social workers who are committed to making a difference for people with learning disabilities and their families, with a focus on developing their skills to enable them to live an independent life.
Southwark is a vibrant inner London borough that offers a wide range of opportunities and challenges for social workers.
Our Senior Practitioners are provided with regular supervision and access to a comprehensive and varied training programme.
