About the Role:

An exciting opportunity within our Adult Social Care Mental Health division for a full time service support officer and receptionist for our busy office. The successful applicant will provide reception desk services, ensuring excellent and quality customer care for all visitors and callers, as well as providing administrative support across the service. This is a full time office based role.

As the first point of contact for our diverse range of visitors, you will need excellent communication skills and a friendly manner, as well as being polite, professional and organised.

About you:

The successful applicant will have the ability to deal with adults who are facing difficulties and can sometimes present challenging behaviours. A general understanding of adult social care and mental health, or a willingness to learn would also be beneficial. You will need to be able to work independently and will be undertaking a variety of administrative activities; such as responding to incoming phone calls, email and other correspondences in a sensitive and efficient manner, enabling frontline staff to concentrate on delivering the core business function.
