The Role:
Are you committed to ensuring that all children are able to access education, from early years through to Post-16 provision? Do you have experience of developing services for vulnerable children and support them into school or alternative education services? Are you able to plan strategically and to lead teams to deliver a range of diverse services?
If the answer to the above questions is ‘yes’ then this Service Development Lead role, based in our Education directorate, may be the right role for you.
About you:
As the Service Development Lead, Education Inclusivity, you will provide strong leadership and a flexible approach to a number of teams delivering a wide range of services aimed at ensuring all children are able to receive their education and to thrive. This includes supporting vulnerable children who may not be able to access a mainstream school, promoting the education of looked after children, promoting the education participation of 16-18 year olds and maintaining oversight of areas including elective home education, children missing education, early years provision. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to make a real difference to children and families and to contribute to the success of our team.
