The Role
The effective procurement and administration of our surveying and technical functions underpins every facet of our success. Luckily, the team responsible will have you as their manager.
You’ll lead a team with a remit spanning everything from legal disrepair and arbitration, to Housing Improvement Agency and both public and private sector housing adaptations.
We will rely on your technical expertise, advice, and assistance to make tendering, procurement, and contracting more effective.

About You:
- Managing and developing a team of building surveyors and administrators, you will enjoy the scope to greatly impact our service.
- You’ll champion the highest standards of health and safety, and monitor and report on cost-effectiveness.
-Crucially, you will personally manage works from inception to completion, including programming, contractor supervision, and contract administration.
-Your credentials: A relevant building surveying qualification, to degree level or equivalent
-Significant experience in administering building-related contracts at a senior level Proven working knowledge of the Housing Disrepair protocol
- A strong understanding of landlord/tenant matters, leaseholder consultation requirements, and contract dispute and resolution
- Excellent communication skills - from writing reports to answering the public’s questions

- This is a Fixed Term contract for 12 months
- Standard 36 hours, Monday to Friday
