The Role

The successful post holder for Senior Project Manager will have a range of experience in leading Projects across the organisation to completion, with a track record of managing stakeholders. They will work closely with the team, supporting them to achieve deadlines and they must be able to test and iterate work. Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand political environments will be key. The post holder will need to be able to demonstrate what equality, diversity and inclusivity means to them and have a history of supporting others to grow and develop.

About You:
We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference to Southwark employees and is excited about the future. The post holder will be someone who can work collaboratively across the council, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to use communication to influence. They will also need to have proven experience of project management, which has delivered successful outcomes across an organisation and helped to make change happen. This role will require understanding of budget management, data and metrics. Importantly, the post-holder will have a can do and enthusiastic manner, with a desire to make things happen. Additional Information:
• Standard 36 hours Monday - Friday
• This is a secondment role for 12 months
