We are looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist Senior Practitioner to join us in providing leadership and direction to a multi-professional team in supporting the day-to-day running of a busy team. You will be supported by the Team Manager to continually looking for ways to develop the service.
Occupational Therapy is pivotal in supporting the day-to-day running of an integrated Adult Social Care team, working across all services. The Occupational Therapy work covers both paediatric and adults.
In Southwark Occupational Therapists have access to a wide range of equipment to enable service users, and we are developing strong relationships with housing colleagues.

About You
The successful applicant will need to have “a can do attitude” and actively seek continuous professional development in their practice.
We are looking for resilient practitioners who can manage competing demands and prioritise their work effectively.
The role requires applicants who are confident decision makers and who can stay calm under pressure. You must hold a degree in
Occupational Therapy, be registered with Health Professionals Social Work England.
You must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) having successfully completed an approved qualification in occupational therapy, together with extensive post qualifying experience and knowledge of adult social care legislation and good practice.
