The role:
The Senior Performance Analyst role supports services within the Children and Families division. You’ll support services which work with some of our most vulnerable children and families, as well as those that care for them, so you must be a confident performance professional with a collaborative, open working style.
At a time of reducing budgets, you will work with Heads of Service and Service Managers to ensure that performance is owned and understood by the services we support. Your support will help the division to deliver an outstanding service to the children and families of Southwark. You will be managing a small team who’s key aim is to be responsible for data quality, performance, and statutory reporting including to Ofsted and DfE.
You will also be the primary lead for the annual statutory returns for looked after children, care leavers, adoptions, and foster carers, fully understanding the statutory processes for each of the areas.
About you:
We want only the best for Southwark and we are seeking a senior performance analyst with a strong background in Children’s Social Care, and an excellent track record of achievement.
The successful candidate will be expected to have sound data and analytical abilities, strong leadership and excellent people and communication skills. You will work closely with the service to understand their needs and help support them deliver departmental and corporate objectives.
