The Role
Senior Organisational Development Partner
£56,271 – 69,990 + £2724 additional benefit, which can be taken as cash or invested in another benefit
At Southwark, we believe our staff are our greatest strength. They bring the power - the power to make things happen. To create relationships. To help our residents thrive. As our new Senior Organisational Development (OD) Partner, you’ll feel that energy from day one, as you put your valued skills to work at a leading, progressive provider of public services. Join our people powered council and create a better future for Southwark.
This is a unique opportunity to lead the design and delivery of strategies, programmes and projects that improve our organisational effectiveness. It’s a role that requires collaboration with colleagues at all levels of the council, so you’ll need excellent skills in communication and engagement. As well as being great with people, you will also be an OD subject matter expert who can provide specialist advice to leaders and managers across our organisation. Powered by your specialist knowledge, you’ll lead programmes and projects that help us to achieve the priorities and commitments in our council delivery plan, making a real difference to how the council works.
Day to day, you’ll design and deliver OD interventions, thinking creatively and developing innovative solutions. Working in partnership with others, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your exceptional people skills. Your credibility will come from an established background in OD or your experience of creating change in large, complex organisations. You’ll also be able to demonstrate commitment to your own personal and professional development, as well as experience of managing programmes and supporting others to achieve their potential.
Above all, you must be committed to public service and driven to achieve impact. A strategic thinker who builds strong relationships, you’ll be energised by the opportunity to change Southwark for the better.
By harnessing our individual and collective contributions, we have the power to create a better future for Southwark. Use your power to help us build a next generation workforce and a next generation council. Join us.
