This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile and capable finance manager to join the Adult Social Care and Commissioning Finance team.
As a Senior Manager working for the Professional Finance Services team within the Finance & Governance department, you’ll lead a small team of finance staff providing professional financial advice to the social care directorate.
We are looking for a motivated candidate with proven experience of working with a range of internal and external stakeholders in social care. The successful candidate will be both technically excellent and skilled in communicating effectively at all levels of the organisation. You’ll be CIPFA qualified (or equivalent) with strong inter-personal skills, the ability to communicate complex financial information simply and a keen eye for operational and financial efficiencies. You’ll also have proven team management experience and the ability to identify and deliver training and development opportunities.
