This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to join a high-performing finance team delivering a comprehensive accounting service for the adult social care and commissioning divisions.

As a Senior Finance Manager working for the Professional Finance Services team within the Finance & Governance department, you’ll lead a team of finance staff dedicated to helping the social care team deliver high quality, safe services within budget.

We are looking for a motivated candidate with proven experience of providing a ‘Finance Business Partnering’ type service in an adults’ social care environment. You’ll be CIPFA qualified (or equivalent) with strong inter-personal skills, the ability to communicate complex financial information simply and a keen eye for operational and financial efficiencies. You’ll also have proven team management experience and the ability to identify and deliver training and development opportunities.
