The role

Salary range:

The salary range for this position is:£47,043 - £54,135

The Role:

 You will be responsible for overseeing a programme of projects for Corporate Facilities Management (CFM) and for the provision of professional building surveying advice to ensure that projects for the division are delivered on time, within budget and at the required quality.

You will work with and direct cross functional project teams, facilities managers, staff and external contractors to deliver cost effective, sustainable and compliant projects across the council’s property portfolio and provide post project performance reviews.

About You:

You will be an experienced building surveyor educated to degree level (or equivalent) or hold an

appropriate professional qualification - CIOB/RICS.  You will have experience in working in local authority, demonstrating an understanding of and ability to negotiate the relationships between different parts of the organisation.
