The role
The Southwark School Meals Transformation Programme aims to transform Southwark’s school food system so that all Southwark children can enjoy a delicious and nutritious lunch in both primary and secondary school settings.
This is an exciting opportunity to join Southwark’s School Meal System Transformation Programme team as the School Food Improvement Officer.
The Officer will support the delivery of a resilient, efficient and nutrition focused school food system. Your work will help inspire change, boost knowledge, skills and confidence, and make it easier for schools and their caterers to deliver nutritious school food.
About you:
We are looking for a motivated, experienced and resilient individual to work with schools, caterers and other stakeholders across the borough of Southwark to improve the nutritional quality and take-up of school food.
You must have strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of different stakeholders.
