The role

The Revenue Service Charge Manager will lead a small team responsible for the analysis of revenue spending on housing  in order to construct revenue service charges, undertaking statutory consultation where required and liaising with service providers and with homeowners

You will develop robust systems, processes and practices to ensure that charges are accurate and reasonable, applying a keen eye for detail and your knowledge of housing services, accountancy principles and leasehold legislation to lead a team that is dedicated to making improvements

You will have excellent communications skills to develop and maintain effective relationships with other Homeownership managers, service providers, stakeholders and the wider community in order to facilitate the delivery of high quality services that meet user needs

We aspire to improve our construction of charges through better use of technology and better liaison with the service providers who incur costs. You will be keen to lead your team in this through proactively identifying solutions and through effective liaison with colleagues across the council.
