The role:

A 12 month maternity cover opportunity has arisen for the Research and Development Officer role within the Sustainability and Business Development Team.

The role provides project governance, management and delivery resource and expertise to our teams and services across the Environment and Leisure Department as required.  This includes both service/division specific reactive projects and also proactive department-wide systems and process transformation. 

The varied nature of this centralised project management role provides an exciting opportunity to work across and build relationships with any number of the wide range of services that the Environment and Leisure department delivers for our residents.   

About you:

The successful applicant will have:

Knowledge of and interest in the variety of roles, functions and services within  local government, and those offered by the Environment and Leisure department

Knowledge of the key aspects of project management and delivery
