Project Officers: New Homes Development Team
Do you have an interest in housing development and project management?
Do you want to be part of the largest council home building programme in the country and help to delivery one of the council’s main strategic objectives? Have the opportunity to take the first steps towards a career in housing development?  Then this is the post for you!
The Role:
The New Homes Development Team is looking to recruit two Project Officers.
One position is for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract and the other is for Maternity Cover.
The successful applicants will have a practical or theoretical background in housing, project manager skills’ experience of providing administrative and financial processing support and a keen focus to further their career. You will be working alongside Project Managers delivering new housing schemes from inception through to delivery. You will be involved in all aspects of our work such as site identification; consulting with residents; liaising with architects and consultants, contractors and internal departments as the new homes are brought into council management. The right candidate will take a keen interest in this area of work and develop their own understanding to provide the right support at crucial times in the project.  You will also have the opportunity to work on small new build projects.
