**Join Our Team: Project Manager – Waste Management & Cleaning Service**

About the Role:

Southwark Council is leading the way in sustainable living with our ambitious Waste Management Strategy Extension to 2025. We're on a mission to significantly boost household recycling rates and reduce household waste. As a Project Manager, you'll partner with our Head of Waste and Cleaning to bring these exciting projects to life.

But that's not all! We're also reshaping our in-house Cleaning Service to enhance efficiency and make it future-ready. Plus, you'll play a vital role in championing equality, diversity, and inclusion within our Cleaning Service, ensuring training and growth opportunities for our front-line heroes.

About You:

As our Project Manager, you'll be the driving force behind successful project delivery. You'll ensure projects stay on track within scope, budget, and timeframes, collaborating closely with the Head of Service. Your skills in project reporting and management will be key in guiding our initiatives to success.

Key Responsibilities:

*Project Management:* Lead projects from inception to completion, managing resources, suppliers, and budgets effectively.

 *Reporting & Analysis:* Prepare and present insightful reports to the Head of Service, offering recommendations based on research and monitoring outcomes.

 *Budget Management:* Oversee project budgets, ensuring resources are optimally allocated for maximum impact.

*Stakeholder Collaboration:* Work closely with internal and external partners to achieve best value and alignment with project goals.

*Governance & Control:* Operate within our governance framework, maintaining controls and providing timely progress updates.

 *Communication:* Produce clear and concise status updates for executive teams and project teams, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies.

 *Innovation:* Draft and manage project budgets innovatively to ensure successful project delivery.
