The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Electoral Services team. The London Borough of Southwark is looking to recruit a Project Manager to ensure the effective delivery of two major elections over the next 18 months. These are the elections for the Mayor of London and the Greater London Assembly (to be held on 2 May 2024) and the next general election (to be held by January 2025). This role will also review existing documentation on project delivery, and update, draft and revise these as necessary, to provide robust project management methodology to the running of elections and associated activities. The organisational structure for running elections will also be reviewed, to ensure that future elections are run on a ‘one council’ basis, using existing expertise where available and relevant.
