The Role:

As a digital council, we use technology to improve outcomes and the lives of the people we serve. The Programme Support Officer supports projects and programmes within Technology & Digital Service, providing support to planning and scheduling of projects and programmes.

The post holder will attend meetings, capture minutes and actions, and provide administrative support to the Technology and Digital Service leadership team, as required.

The post holder will work with a range of services, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to support projects delivered by the Technology & Digital Service, while managing your own smaller projects as well

The role is based within the Digital Inclusion & Change team but may work on projects in any area of Technology & Digital Service, and will work across the organisation on a range of projects. With the introduction of a new strategy, and recovery work following COVID-19, the role will be vital in our delivery of fast-paced digital change.

About You

-You will be key in ensuring the quality and timeliness of project delivery across Technology & Digital Services.

-They will be required to manage projects of increasing scope and complexity as they progress within the role.

We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate, and motivated individuals with a strong interest in project management, and the willingness to work hard to improve their skills.

Additional Information:

-36 hours Monday – Friday, Full time
-This is a 24-month FTC position
