As the Programme Lead – Applications, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing the delivery of our applications portfolio, supporting Southwark’s Digital Vision and delivering a customer centric service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of specialist analysts supporting key council systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement and development of services.
  • Collaborate across departments to foster greater use of corporate applications and best practices.
  • Set strategic direction for technical services and ensure a robust, long-term provision is in place.
  • Offer a modern, reliable enterprise IT function with multi-speed capability.
  • Manage multiple application managers across key council service areas.
  • Oversee projects that enhance and future-proof the council’s application estate.

As our Programme Lead - Applications, you'll have the opportunity to manage and deliver our range of Technology & Digital Services that are making a difference for our fifty-five thousand borough residents. You'll support complex, organisational redesign initiatives and lead multi-disciplinary teams to bring about positive organisational and cultural change across the council.About Southwark Council

Salary Range: £57,678 - £71,742

This role offers an additional JNC payment to the value of £2,724 Per annum.
