Technology & Digital Services sits within the Ustomer Experience Division of the Housing and Modernise department. Modernise provide a joined up service to the business delivering change that affects where and how staff work and what they do.

The Applications Team Leader (CRM Systems) will play a key role in enabling the delivery of this vision.
The Role:
The Programme Lead for Applications is responsible for a programme of work around supporting key council line of business systems, as well as projects to improve how they work and future proof the council’s application estate. Overseeing the delivery of the Applications portfolio, they will lead a team of specialist analysts delivering related services and supporting the underpinning applications in the portfolio, as well as ensuring services are continually developed & improved. They will foster collaboration across the organization for more widespread use of corporate applications as well as greater adoption best practice, working to foster collaboration across areas of practice devolved outside Technology and Digital Services.
They will also set the strategic direction for technical aspects of relevant services, working with suppliers and other IT colleagues to ensure a robust overall provision is in place, initiating and facilitating such projects as required to support technical aspects of the services long term needs. This role will manage numerous Application Managers within the Applications Team, across each key council service area.
