The role
In partnership with Pembroke House, and other community focused organisations, we have been successful in our bid to government to run a pilot through the Partnerships for People and Place programme.
There is a detailed delivery plan which builds on the success of the Community Support Alliance, and the arrangements that were in place to support Southwark residents during the pandemic, but in a nutshell it’s a time-limited and high profile pilot focused on food in Walworth. The programme is exploring very different ways of working with our residents and in collaboration with local organisations and government.
Due to tight delivery timescales we need to get cracking now, and we’re looking for someone to lead this project for the council and to work with colleagues across the council and with partners, including from central government.
