Use your knowledge to help improve private sector housing conditions in Southwark
As an Enforcement Officer in the Private Sector Housing Licensing and Enforcement Team you will be investigating and taking action in relation to a wide range of complaints about private sector housing including Houses in Multiple Occupation, public health & nuisance.
You will be required to take enforcement action where necessary and will be required to attend Court when appropriate.
You will be responsible for managing a caseload and must be familiar with legislation covering private sector housing and public health.
Strong communication skills are important and you will be required to work with other Council departments, members of the public and landlords.
The post carries an essential car user allowance. Flexible working options are also available.
