Our Children's and Adults' Services Department (ChAd) is seeking a talented Principal Applications Analyst to join our team and make a key difference for residents and service users in Southwark!

About the Role

In this role, you will be tasked with building fixes and enhancements within our existing systems to address customer requests and requirements.

You will need to thoroughly understand the problems by talking to customers and figure out precisely what is not working as expected. You will need to be curious and possess active listening skills because sometimes users might not understand the root cause of their problem. Therefore, you will need the ability to think critically, tackle challenges head on and build and maintain strong and effective relationships with our stakeholders.

About You

  • You will be an excellent communicator.
  • You will be able to build relationships at all levels, both internally and with external stakeholders and suppliers.
  • You will have well developed technical skills and experience working in an agile environment.
  • You will be an excellent team player with analytical and creative problem solving abilities.
  • You will have a good understanding of the services in Adults or Children's Social Care, Education, Early Years, or Family Support, and be familiar with the business processes.
  • You will understand the importance of good data management and be passionate about transformation and change to improve outcomes for staff and service users.
