The role
The International Social Workers Practice Lead / Professional Educator will have a key role in teaching, coaching and developing our International Social Workers within Frontline Children Social Care.
The role will support the ASYE Professional Educators in the delivery of the ISW & ASYE programme within Children’s Social Care, this will involve delivering individual and group training and promoting professional development for ISW’s and Newly Qualified Social Workers across Children’s Services.
The role will be to develop and motivate ISW’s and NQSWs by providing high support and high challenge in carrying out every aspect of their role to the best of their ability and to the standards required of them as part of a team of 3 Professional Educators.
The role is a team manager level and will be required to quality assure reports and provide management approval of the practice of the International Social workers.
About you
You will be Social Work qualified, experienced in Practice Development Education alongside a good detailed understanding of practice, processes and the systems that support practice.
You will have strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence managers and social workers in order to embed and further a successful and effective learning culture within Children’s services.

Additional details
This post is being offered initially as a fixed term contract for 12 months. We encourage any internal staff to gain agreement from your substantive line manager before applying if you are considering this is as a secondment opportunity.
