The Role:
This is a crucial opportunity to ensure the provision of a seamless, effective service for children. The focal point of contact for the practice group, you’ll deliver key administrative support to colleagues, as well as providing advice and guidance to children and families. You’ll help to ensure timely interventions by coordinating work across the team, identifying needs, and handling complex, sensitive enquiries, and we’ll rely on you to keep systems, records and information updated accurately. An integral member of the team, you’ll make key contributions to all of our meetings and processes.
About You:
We need a capable and flexible administrator with solid IT experience, a flair for problem solving and planning, and the ability to manage data and systems. A skilled communicator, you’ll be capable of delivering reports and minutes, working with a broad range of colleagues, and assisting children and their families with a sensitive approach. It is essential that you have a good understanding of Children’s Social Care and the impact it has upon the child, as well as an understanding of social and economic issues affecting clients and service users. Naturally, you’ll respect confidentiality, and will be committed to our principles of “Social Work Matters” and our progressive new approach.
