The newly created Enforcement and Monitoring Team has a vacancy for a team leader to work primarily on the collection and release of Community Infrastructure Levy funds and S106 obligations. This is a key position in the team, with supervisory responsibilities for more junior colleagues. The successful candidate will have a good working knowledge of the planning process, and will have experience of the management of infrastructure charges arising from approved development. A keen eye of detail, financial management skills and excellent customer service are essential.
Ensuring that the financial and other benefits arising from approved development are delivered to communities is critical to the council's commitments to building back fairer and keeping our promises to local people.
The role will involve occasional attendance at Planning Committee. There is also the opportunity to contribute to the Planning Department's graduate development programme.
