The role
The Old Kent Road Team is seeking to fill a Team Leader role on a fixed period ending 31 August 2021.
As set out in the attached job description and vacancy information, the role is for a Team Leader in the Old Kent Road Team, to deliver planning and regeneration advice.
Key responsibilities include providing specialist and complex planning advice, leading teams of professional planners, and leading on and delivering regeneration projects. As a lead officer in the Team you will be expected to take responsibility for decisions and recommendations regarding planning impelmenation, policy and other related regeneration projects and activities that will have far reaching and lasting effects on the development of Old Kent Road and which have significant impacts on the local environment, economy and community.
The job provides the opportunity to take a lead role in one of the largest regeneration schemes in Europe, working with planning and regeneration colleagues, architects and developers. You will have a relevant professional qualification and a track record in delivering high quality planning and design outcomes in an inner city context.
