The Role
Southwark Council is a Central London borough which is changing rapidly being the centre of a dynamic world city with a huge regeneration agenda. The Planning Division, which forms part of the Chief Executive’s Department, is currently looking to recruit a Planner to lead on testing and developing some of the new digital tools.
The role will be challenging, requiring candidates to be enthusiastic and passionate about learning and contributing to the wide variety of work undertaken by the department. The post also offers other exciting development opportunities including the scope of working across teams on projects.
Suitable candidates should, preferably, have a planning qualification and should be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of the planning process, digital project development, agile working as well as the ability to read plans and and write succint and accurate reports.
This is a 1 year contract funded by the MHCLG..
