The role:
You will be required to procure individual packages of support for children, adults and families including: continuing care and care packages for older people and adults with mental health, learning and/or physical disabilities, requiring specialist assessment. You will be required to undertake negotiations of individual placements and packages within social care. You will contribute information about the quality, availability and sustainability of the market for health and social care services and keep accurate records and reports on placements and financial activities.
This post will maintain positive working relationships with providers to collect and maintain accurate information on the cost, quality and value for money of services and their compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
About you:
You should be customer focused with excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills and a strong team player. You should have drive, enthusiasm, flexible and a positive attitude with attention to detail. You will also have, excellent administration, IT and numeracy skills and enjoy working in a busy environment.

Additional information
We have 1x permanent role (with a start date of 01/04/2022) and 1x fixed term role for 6 months. Any internal staff interested in the fixed term role are encouraged to gain agreement from their substantive line manager before applying if they interested in the role as a secondment opportunity.
