About you:
This is an amazing opportunity for an amazing, passionate person to work with our young people.
Personal Advisors are key colleagues in Children’s services work, fulfilling a statutory function, working with care leavers (aged 18 to 25) to befriend, advise, assist and enable them through both providing practical support directly but also through mobilising multidisciplinary networks in the statutory and not for profit sectors
You must be organised and committed to working in partnership with our children and young people and determined to deliver the services they deserve. Your primary aim will be to help our care leavers to make a successful transition to adulthood through practical and planned interventions.
The collaborative nature of the work requires excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills. A key part of the role is relationship building and timely written recording on file, at the latest by the next working day. You will be passionate about making a positive difference to care leaver’s lives and will want to work with our young people to clearly and SMARTLY set out their goals in Pathway Plans and work with them to achieve their ambitions.
