The Role:

As the Parking CCTV and Asset Manager, you will oversee the delivery and performance of over 120 Parking CCTV camera assets that issue Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) to vehicles violating parking and moving traffic restrictions. Your expertise will ensure the CCTV camera assets and all other parking related assets meet all legislative requirements and operate efficiently.

This role is vital in supporting our Climate Change, Air Quality, and Streets for People initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the deployment and performance of Parking CCTV cameras across Southwark.

- Oversee the maintenance of all parking and CCTV enforcement-related street furniture and track expenditure.

- Act as the subject matter expert on all parking-related assets, ensuring compliance with legislative standards.

- Supervise staff conducting site surveys related to parking street furniture and abandoned vehicles.

- Support the Council's Climate Change, Air Quality, and Streets for People plans through effective traffic and parking enforcement.

About You:

- We are looking for a proactive and knowledgeable individual with a strong background in parking and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience of stakeholder relationship management to deliver services to agreed performance levels and timescales

- Experience in delivering services in a highly regulated environment

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

- Proficiency in running reports, analysing and presenting data to influence decision making.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

- A commitment to promoting sustainability and improving urban air quality.
