The Adoption London South – Regional Adoption Agency
Adoption London South – the Adoption Services is a newly formed a partnership of 9 local authorities across the South West and South East of London. Our aim is to build best practice across South London by providing a range of adoption services children, adoptive families, birth parents and adopted adults. We are looking for people to join us in building the service to improve outcomes in adoption.
Our service is hosted by Southwark and Merton, made up of 9 boroughs in total across the South East and South West region, namely, Lambeth; Croydon; Lewisham; Wandsworth; Sutton and Achieving for Children, delivering service on behalf of Richmond & Kingston. Adopt London South works closely with all our partner councils and communities.
Panel Co-ordinators x 1.5
We are looking for 1.5 x Co-ordinators posts, this requires a keen eye for detail and includes supporting Panel Members and organising panel papers within timescales as part of a team. We are looking for someone with sound experience of minute taking, recording panel decisions, managing sensitive and confidential information. The post will require someone who able to work on their own initiative and closely alongside the Panel Advisor, as well as the wider service area. It is important that review of feedback is monitored and contribution to the training and support of the panel members.
The role requires sensitivity and involves regular contact with service providers, contractors, professionals and members of the public. Excellent communication skills are a must and the ability to deal with a range of professionals.

The vacancies are based at Tooley Street, but our work will cover all over the South East and South West London.
