About the Role
As a Noise Enforcement Officer, you’ll play a key role in enforcing noise and nuisance legislation, ensuring we deliver the highest standards of customer care while meeting our statutory responsibilities. Working alongside management and Noise Support Officers, you’ll provide expert advice and take the lead in delivering robust enforcement action. You will be instrumental in maintaining our zero-tolerance approach to noise and anti-social behaviour, making Southwark a better place to live.
What We’re Looking For
✅ Experience providing specialist advice and guidance in at least one environmental health field related to noise
✅ A relevant degree or equivalent noise qualification
✅ Strong knowledge of environmental health and noise nuisance legislation, including PACE and criminal law
✅ Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills
✅ A full UK driving licence
