The role

We are looking for Newly Qualified Social Workers to start on our ASYE programme in Autumn 2024.

We have a number of different roles within Southwark Children’s Services which focus on supporting children, young people, their families and carers.

We are seeking kind, compassionate and skilful social workers who have the potential, commitment and dedication to providing the children, young people and families with the outstanding support they need and deserve.

You will be supported to undertake the complex, skilful work needed to get to know children and really understand what their day to days lives are, by identifying family strengths and resources as well as issues and concern, you will develop plans with children, families, carers and networks to ensure that each child support needs are well catered for in planning and intervention to ensure the right support is put in place at the right to to enable our children, young people, families and communities to achieve good outcomes.

For successful candidates progressing to phase 2 Interviews and practice assessments to commence on week beginning 3rd June 2024.
